Don't Believe the Melt

While watching the fake protest tonight and flipping through some highlighted melts it has occurred to me that, much like the protest, most of these "melts" are fake. Obviously, some of the melts are genuine and the posters truly believe the drivel they are pounding out on their Mac. Then there is another batch of "melts" that all seem to share the common themes of "I'm so afraid of what is going to happen to [insert a string of groups that the left likes to sort people into]" or "I'm so scared for my kids/people that have to raise kids" during the Trump presidency.
The fake melts serve the purposes of battle space prep for the midterms and virtue signaling. The fake melts will continue in one form or another and then when the mid terms roll around the MSM will break out, "Do you Republican candidate X support Donald Trump when he has stoked such fear in so many?"
