Two catcher is one of the dumbest ideas in fantasy baseball imo. The position is a wasteland in one catcher.

I actually agree. I’m not a fan of 2 catcher leagues. Scoring and rosters of this league was created to mimic NFBC rules, so that is where it came from. I personally would be ok switching to one catcher, but this is Swam’s baby. Ultimately would be up to him and how close he wants it to follow NFBC.

Buckle up boys. The fantasy industry is steering us into formats that make little sense other than changing things up.

I don’t play F basketball but I see FFB is making a major push towards Super Flex 2QB being the new norm. 2 Catcher don’t excite me either but at least in SF leagues you’re adding a player that dramatically increases overall scoring.

If the NFBC format was closer to the standard leagues we play then I would be on board with sticking with 1 Catcher. But it makes sense with this format.

Standard League
C-12
1B-12
2B-12
SS-12
3B-12
OF-36
UTL-12
Total-108

NFBC
C-24
1B-12
2B-12
SS-12
3B-12
OF-60
CI-12
MI-12
UTL-12
Total-168

The way NFBC rolls is that most players with positive value are in starting lineups instead of being hoarded onto bench spots.
