way tougher than Clemson

On this, we can agree.

Clemson is a great college football team but they could win the ACC with merely a good college football team.

ACC is very weak. After Clemson, there is a huge dropoff to perhaps Virginia as their second-best team.

Fair enough and welcome to the site. You are right, that the level of knowledge in here is rather low. Just 3 weeks ago people in here were saying Burrow is nothing more than a Game Manager and had the audacity to argue about it as well. SMH.

Today some are saying if LSU had lost the game at Texas that LSU would still make the playoffs, lol. You cant make this crap up.

Good Luck to the Buckeyes this year. I am a new fan since you guys got rid of Urbby Meyer AND more importantly handed us Joe Burrow. I must be a fan of the OSU until at least Joe Cool is being paid to play QB.

I will add that the entire LSU starting defense will be DRAFTED. Half or so in the 1st 3 rounds.
But you wouldnt know this by watching the game Saturday. Texas is really good btw and their OL is a big strong nasty arse bunch. And a cpl of their DL's are as well.
And they have a receiver that turns into Leonard Fournette, Zeke Elliot for you, when he gets the ball in his hands.

I must add if OSU played someone in the Top 10 at the other teams place in game 2, you could point out several deficiencies of theirs as well.

Dont sleep on these Tigers, they are going to outplay the gumps this year, if JC stays healthy.

I just watched Westside vs The World on Netflix and apparently, Clemson's strength and conditioning coach has been making pilgrimages to Columbus Ohio to learn Louie Simmon's techniques.

Must be working because all of Clemson's offensive and defensive linemen look they could bench 700 pounds and they are dominating teams upfront.

Yep, after Clemson, it's more or less the Pac-10

"Fair enough and welcome to the site."

Thanks for your kind words.

Both LSU and OSU are very talented on defense. Hard to compare defenses because of the quality of opponents is so different.

However, OSU's defense is way better than last years. Would add that the No. 1 rated LB from 2017, Baron Browning is sharing time with long time starter and Butkus Watch player Tuf Borland. Browning is way more talented than Borland, who is a very heady player. OSU's secondary is very talented although half a notch below LSU. (Shaun Wade had a monster game against Cincinnati -- looking way better than last year. Okudah is probably a top 10 NFL pick. Fuller and quite possibly Arnette will be playing in the NFL)

Much the way that LSU's offense has taken a big jump this year, OSU's defense looks to be taking a big jump forward after getting rid of 3 horrible coaches. Will see how an interesting year plays out.

I would never argue that OSU doesnt have NFL talent all over its roster. I consider your school 1 of the BIG 4.

I believe almost anyone can win 8 games a year there. And some could do it asleep.

Great football program up there and now that your sissy coach is gone, maybe you guys wont continue to waste all that NFL talent.

Go Buckeyes!

I think OSU is a very talented team but come on man, Our linebackers as a unit is probably the best in the country. And our DBs well let’s just say you keep yours and we keep ours. I wouldn’t trade ours for anybody’s

LSUNV " Our linebackers as a unit is probably the best in the country."

None of your linebackers are rated as high as Malik Harrison. See LINK Both he and Baron Browning (Soph sharing time with Tuf Borland) are very big and fast. Didn't see any of your LBs making any plays against Texas in second half. I can understand the defense being flustered and playing poorly. However, with talented people I would think there would be a flash or two on some plays. Harrison, since Michigan game has been flashing all over the place. Correct me if I am wrong.

At least against Texas, I didn't see a No. 1 LB unit. It will be much tougher against Alabama. I did change my mind and say that your DBs are better than OSU's although OSU's are very good.
