Fluker
Te'o
Richardson
Cooper
Vaccarro
Warmack
Eiffert

A Safety wouldn't be a bad pick, but not Vaccarro. Elam > Vaccarro. Reid and that Cyprien guy might be better than him too. Not a fan of Vaccarro.

I'm taking the following guys off as they will 100% be taken ahead of us:

-Sharrif Floyd
-Dee Milliner
-Eric Fisher
-Luke Joeckel
-Dion Jordan
-Lane Johnson
-Cordarrelle Patterson

Now for the remaining guys, I don't want the following:

-Barkevious Mingo - I've made my feelings about him known before, but I think he's entirely too thin with pedestrian, borderline bad pass-rush moves and pretty much a one-trick pony

-Jonathan Cooper - Simply because of need, he's a stud

-Sheldon Richardson - One of the laziest players you'll ever see, doesn't use one-tenth of the God-given ability he actually has. If he did he'd be far and away the top pick in the draft, it would be as slam dunk as Luck going 1st overall last year

-Chance Warmack - See Cooper comment

-Tyler Eifert - Not a need nor worth a top 15 pick

-Manti Te'o - I'd have a hard time ever pulling for the Saints again if we drafted this scrub

-DJ Fluker - Would be a bigtime reach IMO

I do want the following:

-Ezekial Ansah - More upside than anyone in the draft

-Star Lotulelei - If medically cleared you're getting arguably the top player in the draft. He could go on a Daquan Bowers-esque tumble IMO though

-Tavon Austin - Immediate impact and upgrade to WR unit

-Jarvis Jones - I go back and forth on this one. All he is is productive, but you can't deny his lack of size and length

I also like Kenny Vaccaro and Alec Ogletree but think both would be too high at 15. I really don't like our position in this draft if you can't tell hahaha.

Elam >>>>> Vaccaro.

I like Ogletree a lot. 1 thing that confuses me is that is he a true MLB? Played FS his 1st 2 years at UGA then moved to LB. You would think he would be an OLB at his size, speed, athleticism, and the fact that he was a formerly safety?

he might be a better fit at OLB in a 4-3, yeah.

he is my pipe dream in the draft for the Saints this year. I'm all for trading down with the Vikings or somebody and being able to take him later while picking up a second rounder also.

I think adding him at inside linebacker would be huge for our team speed on defense. I mean Vilma doesn't seem to have much longer and he's probably not even projected to be a starter at this point. Then you have Hawthorne who never really got into a groove last year plus he was hurt some. And Curtis Lofton isn't exactly the best in pass coverage either.

a big knock on Ogletree is that he doesn't shed blocks well and plays too high sometimes when defending the run. But with the league going more pass happy these days, I'd like to have him.

Agree, but he will get better at shedding blocks the longer he plays the position.

Wouldn't really want Manti either. I lump him into Mingo bust category.
