West Monroe is playing Acadiana this week and I found this article on their QB. Is he an SEC caliber recruit next year? Looks like he'll be moved to CB at the next level.

Incredible athlete but not a QB at the next level. I hope someone finds room on their roster for him because he is very talented.

this seems to be status quo for Louisiana....are there any real dual threat/pro set qb's in the pipeline?

Might be a casulty of numbers with next years class. If he's an athlete then that's not good unless he really has impressed the staff. Most athletes end up at DB, WR or RB. All 3 of those spots are looking tremendous for us at this point with guys highly ranked nationally. Tight spots available at those positions and that is even with about 5-6(Brown, Paris, Hardeman, Jones, Harvey, Alexander, Roberts to name just a few we're in great to good shape for) DBs, 4-5 wrs(Quinn, Dupre, Sims, Noil, Upchurch and D'haquille Williams at a minimum) and 2-3 rbs(Fournette, Williams, Thomas, Paleilei and others) already slated for the class. That's how special '14's class is going to be. Got to fill other positions as well. Gonna be a lot of celebrating on this board the next 14 months.

He is going to be good. Really good. The fact he runs a split back veer offense hurts him but it wouldn't be impossible for him to get a scholly somewhere. Acadiana had a qb go to Arkansas State. He can throw it pretty well when he has to. Him and a few sophomores will be pretty big recruits the next couple of years. Micah Eugene's little bro is coming up and seems to be following in his brothers footsteps. But DeEdward will most likely be a cb at the next level. He is the one who had that "almost" interception play in the state title in 2010. He is probably a way better cb than he is a qb, which is saying a lot because he is pretty damn good at qb.
