Rest of the season if you had to pick one.

Both are disappointing. Both will be inconsistent. Honestly, I couldn't pick one.

I'd go with Lloyd.

Both are big play guys, but I figure with the weapons the Pats have surrounding Lloyd he has a better chance of getting those big plays.

Lloyd at this point but I'm basing that mainly off targets i guess. Complete toss up

Both teams have too many options I think

Take James Jones for instance. People have missed his 2 week window. Everyone will start him next week bc of 2 good games and will have like 2 catches

I have Jordy Nelson and I think he'll catch fire very soon. Both teams have so many guys they utilize so it's really a crapshoot.

I'm in a ppr league. Would you swap them straight up? I have Nelson btw.

Edit: he just proposed Nelson and m. Bush for Lloyd and McCluster

I'd take Lloyd straight up at this point. Lots of Nelson owners are living in last season and not seeing how disappointing the Pack have been fantasy wise. Nelson will catch the occasional bomb for a TD, but it's a crapshoot in the redzone.

I hate how the pats use their small RB's out of the backfield as receivers vulturing catches.

I prefer Nelson especially if benson is out for the rest of the season. They will throw more and with Jennings always having health concerns, Nelson is the #1 target of Rodgers. Lloyd has Hernandez, Gronk, and Welker., and a solid running game.

This. If Benson is out, it's going to be RBBC with mediocre RBs in Green Bay, and more passing. Nelson is the answer now.

ETA: And I'm saying this as a Lloyd owner. From top fantasy wideout in 2010 with Orton and Tebow passing to him, to hit or mostly miss with Tom Brady.

I dont think they aren't passing more now that Benson is out. He wasn't that good to begin with and they have been praising Green since training camp. Teams don't change game plans based on losing a guy who hasn't averaged 4 yards a carry since 2009. Frankly he wasn't that good and isn't an important piece. He's easily replaceable just like any other RB in the league outside of 3 guys

I hope so, but he was doing decent enough for me. In my Yahoo league, I've now got Mathews, LeShoure, and Mendy. I submitted a waiver for Best, I hope he comes back.
