Sorry to use that term. Looking for a not too far (100 miles) destination from the Hammond area for a Sunday-Tuesday trip with the wife. Nice pool is the only must. Resort? B&B?. We planned on the Grand but now need to keep it a little closer. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance (and f yourself for the downvote, thanks again)

You’re always the best poster here, thanks. I think we will book this morning!

its a great place to stay, you'll love it.
make a dinner reservation at thorny oyster, incredible eats. smoke BBQ and the blind tiger are also right there on that corner, as is trapani's.
plenty of other shite to do between BSL and biloxi as well, just a short drive away. theres a zipline place close by thats a lot of fun, and also we like going to the shed to hang out if the weather is nice
have fun

I’ll second the MS gulf coast. We usually stay at hotel whiskey in pass Christian though. A couple of good restaurants there, some in Long Beach, some in BSL.

I think the st Vincent’s guest house in New Orleans is tremendous for this. New hotel by hotelier Liz lambert who is a truly terrific designer. The details are terrific.
That said, I’d certainly wait a few weeks before going to New Orleans.
