Watering in Ironite?

I wanna spread out a bag of ironite, but use the rain water to water it in.
If I were to spread this evening, let it sit overnight until tmmw and let the rain take care of it by say 10:00-12:00, would my lawn be ok?
Or don’t risk it and spread and water it down at the same time?
