NieR Replicant - anyone tryout the new release?

I just finished up a 2nd replay of Nier Automata. Damn that is a good freaking game.
It is not on Gamepass and I am not sure a 11 year old game is worth $60 though? Anyone take the dive, does it play like Automata?
Side note - I finally played the DLC for Automata and got Kaine's outfit for 2B.

I'm playing it, but I was already a huge fan of the original on PS3. It has some similarities to Automata, but it's not as much of an action game. Grimoire Weiss replaces the pods, but it has a bit more of a focus than the pods were.
I do think that the music is even better in the first game. I think you'll enjoy it if you liked Automata that much.
