Help wanted, sorry closed due to lack of staff, please be patient due to lack of staff

This is what I’m seeing everywhere. My 17 year old is looking for his first summer job and currently has 3 offers (the best one is 11.50 an hour but want him to be full time all summer).
So record stock market, record savings rate, record high house prices, 3 dollar+ gas....more jobs than people willing to work them..
Is all this really caused by 1400 dollar checks? This is kinda crazy to this 48 year old

The gov't is paying more to be unemployed than they are to work these entry level jobs.

Tell your son to buy and sell things on the internet. Rent him a warehouse and say go at it.
