is it GBTC?

If someone wants some crypto exposure but doesn't feel like messing around with actual rates trading.

Right now, yes. Premium to nav was 8% last week.
So you need to watch for that.

not sure what this means. But hope for you that it's worth the premium cost as the best way is simply to own btc

ETHE will be another to look at. I believe returns on ETHE will be greater than GBTC long term. Of course there is a premium to pay.

The premium is what grayscale puts on them actually holding the crypto instead of you having to hold it yourself. Most people don’t want to mess with Coinbase etc. It’s easier to just buy Grayscale products through a brokerage account or IRA.

I own a lot of Grayscale. GBTC, ETHE, LTCN, GDLC, but like I said in another post, I make more money in the mining stocks. More volatile of course!

So is that something extra you pay when you buy it or is it already included in the stock price?

It’s more of a built in price that fluctuates according to the price of bitcoin, ethereum, etc. There are grayscale calculators that will give you the exact premium price.
