We now have a major party who intentionally impeached a president specifically to try to prevent him from running again in the future.

Think about that - the federal government has taken direct action to prevent an American citizen from running for president in the future. They have taken proactive measures, using their position of power, to STOP a lawful citizen from running for president at some point in the future.

Regardless of whether or not you're a fan of President Trump, this is a very dangerous precedent. Next time (if it ever happens) the republicans hold both the House and Senate while a democrat is president, could you imagine if congress impeaches that president twice just so they don't have to run against him/her in the next election? All hell would break loose.

Trump won't be the only one impeached, they have the power. They will come after the Cruz's and Hawley's next. Our government majority is petty asf.

I heard his speech, he didn’t incite anything. Reports are also the the people going in did it before his speech. The bad part is facts don’t matter, anymore
