Since the draft I have been watching a lot of clips on Lewis, and a couple of things about his play really jumps out on tape. We all know that he is extremely quick and fast, but i love the way he can penetrate and get to the rim and finish. Another strong point i notice is he is great at finishing and passing with either hand. His play should create a lot of open looks for his teammates. He's also a pretty good defender for his size, he will need to add some muscle, but that will come in time.
I really wanted us to draft Bey or Neasmith, but now Lewis is really starting to grow on me and i am looking forward to watching him play.

One thing that kind of blew my mind was that he was not eligible age wise for the NBA draft after his Freshman year of college, so even if he wanted to be a 1 and done he couldn't. Still younger than some 1 and dones after two years of college.

His three point shooting is better both in his mechanics and in the deeper numbers than I had initially concluded just watching highlights and looking at the counting stats pre draft. He is a sneaky good catch and shoot player and projects a lot better as an off guard player than I had initially thought and more than many analysts have identified or emphasized. There is definitely a world where we have a peak Warriors tier transition offense with Lonzo controlling the break and teams having to pick their poison of Zion bullying to the rim, Ingram either taking it to the hoop or splitting out with Kira and killing you from the arc(or Kira just blasting past defenders and driving to the rim). It’s an offense with the potential to be more electric than anything this franchise has ever seen.

I think he has a real chance to be a better shooting DeAarron Fox. And that’s near an all star level player. With the outside chance of really developing a perimeter game that could make him a top 15-20 player.
