Liberty has 1950s era restrictions on gender and dating. I don't know anyone who went there, but I can see it being odd.

Liberty makes BYU look like Berkeley in 1968

Compare that to the 1750's era speech codes that most "progressive" colleges have on campus.

Liberty had already prevented people from speaking on campus that the leaders don’t like.

You clearly don't know much about Liberty. They have no problems with censoring anything at anytime. I just find it hilarious that they are called "Liberty".

If you knew anything about Liberty, you'd know the name stems from Liberty Mountain, which is the location of the college. And unlike secular colleges, Liberty doesn't pretend to be anything other than a place for Christian fundamentalists. You expect to have your freedoms curtailed there, whereas progressive colleges pretend to be pillars of diversity and tolerance, but instead punish wrongthink in just as harsh of a manner as Liberty would blasphemy.

They have put restraining orders to prevent people from speaking on campus. Liberty is very anti free speech and free thought. Definitely not “liberty” by any stretch

No different than Universities that forbid conservatives to speak on campus

Different because 99.9% of football recruits don't care about that. They do care about stuff like alcohol being banned on and off campus.

That’s the point. They aren’t different than any other university.

So they're like all the liberal college campuses out there.

Freeze will be the next head coach at USC. (Southern Cal not South Carolina)

There’s no way in hell USC hires an evangelical preacher to be the face of their university.

Ok

He wouldn’t be a bad choice though, if we’re being honest. I’m hoping he takes the OC route and makes his way to LSU.
