My girlfriend wants to go in September so we will make a trip out there, any tips or other info that might be useful?

Thanks!

I would hold off on that. LA is aggressively closing shite due to Covid.

If you must, without knowing what kinds of things you plan on doing, I would try to stay in a central area to what you are interested in seeing. Traffic is horrendous (I'm sure you have heard that before).

Go see all the homeless cities.

Eat out at nowhere cause everything will be closed.

Have fun!

Why does she want to go there? What is she interested in seeing/doing?

We went to LA last October. Went to the Reagan Library it was great. Stayed 5 hours. Went to the Walk of Fame...never got out of the car due to the homeless people and the human waste on the sidewalks. Santa Monica was wonderful before the riots so I don't know that situation currently. Drive up the coast to Santa Barbara and on to the Hearst Mansion. Well worth the time.

we went last October, it was a nice time. we stayed at the Beverly Hilton, pretty easy access to what we wanted to do. The Reagan Library and Paramount Studio tours were great. I agree the Walk of Fame is a trip into the hood, although we had to go to that area to catch a Star's Homes tour. That was a nice ride in an open air bus one afternoon. We drove to the Santa Monica pier and that was cool. We flew into Burbank.

Do a studio tour if any of them are open. We did the Warner Brother tour and it was amazing.

Dont stay in that shitehole area

Stay in Dana Point or Laguna Beach. Drive up to LA if it's a must
