All I'm trying to do is keep the Pelicans Talk from becoming yet another Poliboard Lite. It's hard to avoid political discussion these days, but when I see unnecessary name calling and personal attacks attached to political discussions, I call it out. I've called it out on both sides. I'm just trying to understand why a post where I suggested Chad tone things down was deleted.

quote:

4. DO NOT engage in personal attacks on other users. Healthy debate is expected and encouraged, but take the childish insults elsewhere. This is particularly true with regard to visitors from other schools. Moderators will be especially watchful for verbal abuse, ridicule, ad hominem attacks, and stalking.

Have the guidelines changed and you just haven't updated the page?
