Since it looks like Paris will be unavailable to get to in September, where are some good state side options for a honeymoon?

Excluding Hawaii/Key West

Thanks in advance

Either beach or mountains. Hard to bank on going somewhere bc of the city/nightlife bc you really don’t know what extent it’ll be open

Coast of Maine is awesome in the summer but not sure if everything will be shut down for COVID.

Ranch resort out West would be cool

California/Oregon/Washington wine country

Not sure if any of these are worth the expense though if COVID has everything shut down.

I think an outdoors centric destination with a self catering cabin or condo is your safest bet right now. You can order in, if the restaurant situation is still limited. The TX Hill Country has some lovely spots,

Honeymooned in St. Thomas and it was great. Amazing beaches and good night life. You can ferry your rental car to St. John and check out that island as well. St. John has nicer beaches and nightlife in my opinion but cannot go wrong with either. Trying to go back next summer. By far prettiest beaches I have ever seen. Let me know if you want more details. I'd be happy to share.

Dude just hold out til 2021 til you can go international and don’t have to tell people you went to Fredericksburg for your honeymoon. If you need to buy some time go to coastal Oregon or Maine something.
