I saw Segovia in concert in New Orleans when I was younger. It was in the 70's; maybe around '75 or '76. I think it was at Tulane. He was already old then, but still a world class musician. I came across this video and thought some of you guitarists might enjoy hearing and watching him teach. I didn't know he spoke English.

Paco de Lucia. Nice

Back in 2011 my son and I drove up to Napa Valley to see Tommy Emmanuel in concert at the Napa Opera House. We're both big fans. We got tickets to the meet-and-greet before the concert. There were only about 10 of us, so we got to chat with Tommy for awhile. We talked about guitars mostly. Then my son told Tommy Emmanuel that he thought he was the greatest guitarist in the world. Tommy thanked him, then said that he wasn't but he knew who was. i asked him who, and he said Paco de Lucia.
