Exterior remodel project help

We’re looking to remodel the exterior of our brick home by updating the aluminum facia to Hardi, replacing the vinyl soffit and carport siding with Hardi, new front door, new windows. There’s a wooden sash underneath the current windows that we’re thinking about removing and replacing with windows that go all the way to the brick ledge. The big box stores are very little help and our podunk contractor is an awesome carpenter and can duplicate nearly any picture we show him but there needs to be a picture of what we want. The problem is that we don’t know what we want because we don’t know what is available.

What profession should we consult with for ideas and design concepts that will work with what we already have? Interior design? Architect? Chip and Joanna are too far away and I’m not sure shiplap will work with the brick.
