Somehow I ended up playing animal crossing more hrs then my GOAT game of AT BOTW

And I kinda came to the conclusion that I don’t even really like Animal Crossing .
Went to the menu on my switch were it shows the hrs played and I just crossed the 280 hr mark on AC and only played my favorite game of all time 270.
How did this happen ?
I think it’s time to let my weeds grow .

Same thing for me. BOTW is a top 5 game all time for me but I've sunk way more hours into Animal Crossing.
It's the same type of addiction as The Sims.

I actually felt the same way. I played AC a lot and I feel like I enjoyed it, but I don't really know what I liked. Once I got to the point that the game was more about whatever aesthetic I wanted on my island, I started getting burned out.

I only made it about a month in to AC before I had my realization that I was playing Chores Simulator 2020. It was the same way when I played Ark for the first time and I spent 30 minutes harvesting dinosaur shite to throw in the compost and was like - this is dumb as hell and quit.
AC was fun for a while b/c it was new and shiny and I'd never played one before. Even got my wife playing it, but the multi player stuff was garbage with the follow the leader crap. Same thing with not being able to visit islands with multiple people - just really frustrating.
