Anyone here a member out at Hearthstone Country Club? Seems like they have a pretty solid membership opportunity right now.
Just didn’t know how the course or club were.
TIA

Damn, thanks for info. I liked that the membership would allow me to play up in Kingwood with the father in law but I want to like the course I’d play the most.

My grandfather was a member there years ago when he lived in the neighborhood. I played the course a few times. I don’t remember hitting driver very often even playing from the tips.
There is a really cool par 3 that’s only 100 yards or so, but it shoots to a green way below the tee box. The front of the green has a bulkhead against a little water way. I remember getting a hitting pad and hitting a huge bucket of balls and drinking whisky at sundown with my grandfather. I would like to play the course again just to solidify my memories.

It use to be a decent club to belong to 25 years ago. Use to have some great gambling games there on the BBQ circuit.
Unfortunately they suffer from what a lot of clubs are these days, the members got old and they didn't do a great job of courting new members.
The layout is a little outdated for today's game.
Really depends on the price now.
