The stock market is now actually up from where it was 12 months ago

Both the Dow and S&P 500 are trading at HIGHER levels than they were a year ago on 5/28/19.
For all the doom and gloom, the market was so booming it could give back a lot and STILL be way up.

We've got to get people back to work. If we're still at 20% unemployment in October, the situation will start to become unrecoverable.

With the Fed printing money and buying corporate debt (including a lot of risky bonds), who cares about consumption decreases and skyrocketing unemployment.

The basis for those comparative numbers is hugely different.
Last year we only had 6 million underemployed total. We currently have 41 million unemployed. If we can get to September @ >3050 S&P and >25.5K DJIA (today's levels), we'll be in good shape.
But IMO, the next few months in our markets won't be suited for the faint-hearted.

I don’t think the stock market is a good indication of the health of the economy. I see a huge dip coming. It will rebound bigly if Trump wins. If he loses I’m moving to another country.

Its almost like creating a massive bailout for big corporations with minimal supervision gives the mega rich people in power confidence they gov't won't let them lose money
