Grass/Grassy weeds in flower beds

Does anyone have suggestions on best ways to take care of this? Flowerbed is starting to be overrun with grass. After pulling back the top layer of mulch, it's going to be a serious pain to pull the root system for these weeds. Is that the only way or what's the best spray to get this taken care of?

I mean if it is overrun and you are starting over just use round up. It is going to be difficult to get rid of grassy weeds (I'd guess some of it is torpedo or bermuda) without damaging surrounding plants.

Glyphosate the shite outta it. Make it rain.
