I’ve read mixed reviews on people cutting them off versus twisting until it comes off.

Any recommendations?

I snip but more because I don’t want to pull and bother the others that maybe need another day of so

I just twist and pull. What's more important is to have plenty of bread and bacon for those bacon-mater sandwiches.
