Every grocery in BR has plenty of white bread and honey wheat plus hamburger and hot dog buns. I have yet to see any whole wheat bread whether Nature’s Own, Hostess, etc. Does anyone know why?

I found the same situation with cereal. Nothing but sweetened cereal on the shelf. No regular Cheerios, Rice Chex, etc. Also , people have taken to eating a lot of yogurt. Maybe everyone thinks it is time to get healthy.

I've yet to experience this in grocery stores near my residence. I pray that won't happen, because I seldom prefer white bread over whole wheat, whole grain or nut bread.

I got some Pepperidge Farm 15 grain bread at Walmart grocery the other day...I was pissed because that is 3 grains more than I usually get...

When the bakeries go into emergency mode, they streamline all production into the top sellers. That is why variety cuts way back.
