Modem/Router purchase

Just about to move into our newly built house and looking for advice on which modem/router setup to purchase. Not an OT baller by any stretch - nice 2,000 sq ft with another 1200 or so under roof. Using the local cable company for internet. We aren't gamers and very little streaming. Just want good wifi throughou. TIA

The most critical thing is getting a Docsis 3.1 modem. Do not settle for 3.0 or lower. Even if you don't get 1Gbps service, the extra channels available to the 3.1 modem will guarantee you a much better consistent service as you will have access to channels that the rest of the modems in your area likely do not have.
