Indytiger, we got some stuff going around Indy now. A real nice home west of the interstate. We will help you when you are ready!

I received an email stating y'all won't go into Iberville?

Is that correct?

The one thing I worry about when building a house on fill material is settlement.
You can compact the new fill all you want but the existing ground is a concern. How much will it settle with the weight of the fill and house?

Some people will delay building the house a few months after the fill is hauled in and compacted so as to let any settlement of the existing ground to occur. It may save you headaches of cracked slab and walls and sticking doors.
