Look what Morris did. And tell me he didn't deserve to be fired on the fricking spot.

bullshite, he wasn't given a fair chance. As he was changing up the scheme and everything else and sometimes, you have to take a step back before you can take a step forward. However, the AD caved-in to all the overly emotional naysayers. So now you have a new OL coach with no previous head coaching experience as the new head coach at Arkansas today. As you reap what you have sown

I guess I'm in the minority who believes a HC should get 3 years at least at a rebuilding job. Guy hasn't even gotten his guys on the field yet and you fire him.. Bad juju imo

Plus it sends the message to future HCs that they wont have any leash whatsoever.

Please check Pittman's track record in recruiting. You all just don't know anything about Pittman. And that's ok because I didn't know dick about O except he sucked at Ole Miss.

This is a risk but so are all head coaching hires. We'll see.

Dude. You clearly didn't watch what was going on. I couldn't hardly watch it either though so I don't blame you.

You can't muster ONE SEC win or more than 4 total in your 2 yr tenure? Lmao. GTFO.

Not one coach or AD would disagree if they really watched the life he was sucking out of the program and team fast. Attendance took a humongous hit as well.

Morris would have been given more time if he could get at least more than 2 wins total and an SEC win in there and if he looked somewhat competent and was improving. You don't keep someone who shits on their job and can't get any better. When you start losing money, you gotta cut the cord.

3 blow out losses to G5 schools was enough for me.

That's normally true. And normally, you would see some progression in the second year. But Chad wasn't a normal SEC coach. Not by SEC standards. He lost close to half the team after his first year. And I can't say I blame the players who left. Anyone who was halfway paying attention could see the team regress in his second year and I mean fundamentally getting worse. That is straight up piss poor coaching. Period. As a head coach in the SEC, he was awful. And I'm not talking about a normal type of awful either. He was terrible.

I knew when Pittman left that we were in trouble.

That's how much effect it had on our offensive line.
