Evening, counselor. It's funny, I chose Van "Someone Like You" tonight because Adele's version came up on my comcast soft rock and it reminded me of Van (entirely different songs, anyway).

I know one John Sebastian song and it is possibly the TV theme song GOAT.
"Welcome Back."

Evening back, Counsel. When I saw your first post my initial reaction was "Someone Like You" by Rod Stewart until I realized that the actual title is "Reason To Believe", then I thought of Adele's song. Same title - completely different songs.

When I saw "Better Be Home Soon" my first thought was the Lovin' Spoonful's "Darlin' Be Home Soon". John Sebastian was the group's lead singer and his version came up first on my youtube. And yes, he sung the theme song to "Welcome Back Kotter". One of my favorites he sung (with the Lovin' Spoonful) was a little known song called "Six O'Clock".
