Snow vacation

What’s the best place to go in January that has some snow on mountains? I don’t want the whole trip to be about skiing, just would like to do it one day.

Jackson Hole, WY. Can fly into Jackson so no driving over mountains to get to destination. Completely snow covered in town as well as on the mountains. Easy access to food, shopping, tons and tons of scenic views. Also, surrounded by ski resorts if you do want to ski. In the winter, you have to option to take a snowmobile tour through Yellowstone to Old Faithful. It's an all day trip but something you will remember forever (more for the trip than seeing Old Faithful).
