Any how to guides on how to tailgate for LSU in Nashville? It can be about campus tailgating or bar hopping in Nashville for LSU. Not sure what the atmosphere will be like now that it’s an 11am kickoff.

yeesh, 11am doesn't really give you much time. Due to that you may be better off just bar hopping on broadway beforehand.
-There are lots all down west end that UGA folks tailgated in 2 weeks ago. Most were drive up and pay lots.
-The main tailgate lot for UGA is the Holiday Inn direclty next ot the stadium. I believe you needed a pass or permit for htis but not sure where to get it. I think being a night game, plus the season opener, plus a holidya weekend...led to a perfect storm for our game. That lot looked like it was damn UGA/UF. It was raucous and pretty much shoulder to shoulder. I would imagine it will be full of LSU folks but not sure how rowdy it's gonna get due to kickoff time.
-Vanderbilt just this season (starting with UGA) started selling beer. Idk if they have made any revisiosn in the last 2 weeks but it was an absolute nightmare. We sat in section V and there were people jsut getting to their seats for the first time in the 2nd quarter due to the beer and food lines. They were not prepared at all for hte demand and only had a few kiosks setup with a legit 45+ minute wait for a beer. If you do want to buy beer inside I'd highly recommend getting in the gates at least 30 minutes beofre kickoff, if not sooner.
-If you've never been to vandy before, rest easy about your seats. There's not a bad seat in the place and I'm sure it'll be at least 75% lsu people.

In no way would I even bother attempting to setup a tailgate. If you want to take in the (especially) limited tailgating due to the 11 AM kickoff, your best bet is along Natchez Trace - directly to the left of the Vanderbilt Track and Football Practice Field:

we were at the corner of blakemore & 21st (dagurun on this site among others) in 2010 when we made such a ruckus we had both the vandy cops & nashville police come visit us.
we were directly responsible for the 'ban on tailgating' that occurred afterward.
the thing is, our tailgate was TAME compared to what goes on at LSU. sad. we just got there at like 8am and started drinking hunch punch and tigerbaiting vandy fans. by 10pm we were doing handstands in the parking lot and generally acting a fool.

Don’t waste your time setting up a tailgate. Not a good environment. With 11 a.m., you will likely just buy beer in the stadium and go out afterwards. Go to Lower Broad for tourist type honky tonk bars. There are good bars to try in Midtown/Vandy area for twenty somethings. Germantown and the Nations have good breweries. All are a short Uber Ride from the stadium.

Definitely not going to set up our own. Probably looking to just join whatever die hard LSU fans are already out there for a couple hours before ubering to whatever spot has all the bars.

this game is definitely a bloody mary/mimosa in your house/hotel/rv kind of morning, beer at vandy stadium then drinking on the town and catching all the other games in bars evening.

That sounds like a perfect plan now we just have to decide where we want to fit in!
