I agree with almost all of that. Harris and/or Warren have the best shot against Trump. I don’t think Bernie could win against anybody, and a grueling campaign will turn Biden into a babbling idiot. His age is already showing and the primary is nothing compared to the big show. I think the contrast between Trump and Hillary’s energy and pace really hurt her, and Biden doesn’t get the vagina bonus.
FWIW, I would vote for Biden out of that group, but I’m watching my parents get old and age gets almost everybody mentally.

Lots of truth here.
The Dems need to present a contrast with Trump in terms of approach and appearance. The thoughtful, but not really a technocrat, Warren or the younger black woman would definitely do that.
Hillary didn't have the energy but she suffered from being in the Washington game for too long. A lot of detailed plans, but hard to explain plans that didn't have some sort of overarching narrative of economic justice to back them up. Positioned her as a continuation of Obama and left her only messaging "the Orange Man is going to be bad".

Bernie might have been able to beat Trump last time, just on having more enthusiasm from the Dem base but I agree with you at this point. The Dems have to get votes from the burbs and I doubt offering another four years of a firebrand (a leftist one at that) is going to work.
