Red Stick Social would be good. They have a room on second floor that can be reserved and 4th floor with two bowling alleys. Food is good and the bar is nice.

I’ll have to check out the side porch. Haven’t been there in 3 or 4 fires.

I’ll look into it. Never heard of it.

The kid part defiantly has me stumped.

Had me thinking Mangoes or Joes Crap Shack when older family is thinking old state Capitol or old governors mansion.

Please keep up the suggestions & thanks.

Gotta find that middle ground.

Look into the Oasis on Burbank. We've done two gatherings there. Nice bar out back with a really large covered area. Corn hole, foosball, golden tee and of course sand volleyball. Food is good also.

I really wish you the best in your quest. I have no suggestions but it sounds like a lovely affair. Given enough lead time, I might be able to make it.

Keep me posted.

Awesome place kujo.

That’s almost as swanky as glassmans place which he’d let me use but the venue needs to be in greater BR area.

Will try to give the heads up to make your 21 day advanced southwest reservation.

In the meantime, if anyone has any other venue recs for a summer family get together for 40-50 people aged 2-85, please post.

Gracias

This time you didn't mention any geographic restrictions. Is 'BR area only' off the table?

I just knew I could help!

You could probably get John Schneider to host.

Didn’t Ennis and Boss Hog put and end to his shenanigans?

And does Livingston Parish even have good venues that you don’t have to get to by boat?
