I had to replace my Blend door actuator on my 2011 last year. Mine would made a loud clicking noise when I turn my A/C all the way cold.
Why would Ford use a cheap piece of plastic for that and not expect it to fail I have no idea. Money I guess is the only answer.
My 2014 FX4 blend is not working anymore. When re-circulate is selected, I smell the outside fumes if i didn't' have it selected on the dash. No noises are made just the outside smell is coming in the truck. Seems like a pain in the arse fix.
