The Tigers have lost first round only once as a 5 seed or higher

The loss was as a 4 seed to Navy and the great David Robinson.
Tigers will beat Yale. Probably close like most games were this season but a win.

Thank God There was no Tigerdroppings back then. Robinson wasn’t the difference in that game, we just mention that he was onthat team to make us feel better about losing. It was the little crew cut white guys that killed us. Worst coaching of Dale Brown’s career. He was cocky and the team fed off of that. Absolutely PUTRID performance.

The LSU bracket does not face a great player until Duke. Over the years they have fared better against balanced teams than against great players like Robinson, Magic, Jason Kidd, Tim Hardaway, Darryl Griffith, Pervis Ellison, Isaiah Thomas, Ralph Sampson etc.
I like the Tigers to face Michigan State with a good chance to win.
