Binocular accessories - harnesses, tripods, window mounts, etc...

So I finally invested in some quality glass and bought a pair of Leica Geovid R 10x42 binoculars. Super pumped about upping my optics game.


Now I need to outfit myself with the accessory to fully utilize my noc'ers. I've got 3 pieces in mind:

Bino harness
Tripod
Window Mount

For the harness, I've zeroed in on the FHF Gear Bino Harness Pro-M ($120).


For the tripod I'm leaning towards the Vortex Optics PRO-GT Tripod ($150). It comes equipped with a pan head and quick release plate.


And for the window mount, I'll use the Vortex Car Window Mount ($50) and slap a Manfratto Quick Release adapter on it for easier mounting.


For all of these I'll need an Outdoorsman Ring Adapter 42mm ($110).


The Geovid R noc'ers don't have a traditional stud hole for a more normal tripod adapter so the ring adapter is the best option I hope in lieu of the universal strap type bino adapter that Leica makes.

All that to ask: does the OB have any other products they'd recommend instead of (or in addition to) what I've come down to?

I would love a more compact and lighter weight tripod (the Pro GT folds down to 24.5" and weighs over 4lbs) but it seems like I have to make a pretty significant price jump (>$700) to get a lighter or more compact tripod that maintains the strength and stability of the Vortex Pro GT.

I've also considered other harnesses but keep coming back to the FHF. My main concern with most of this stuff is I can't hold it in my hand to compare before ordering it.
