Why would they be idiots for not expecting Smart to play when he hasn't been cleared to play yet the day before the game?

How you can you predict Smart if he’s not reinstated?
Have to assume he won’t be there and without him we gonna have a tougher time with Florida

stop mincing words. If he never needed to be reinstated there wouldn't be a question if he was playing tomorrow night, but alas there is. LSU has not cleared him to play, bottom line, and hasn't since last week. Until that changes, I don't think it's unfair for the guys on the SECN to expect him not to play. That doesn't make them "dumb."

There is no question about this. Smart is 100% not playing tomorrow night.
