Golden Tate being vastly overrated by you 'baws.' John Brown is the more cost effective signing along with giving Dez Bryant another shot.

Biggest issues on this team right now are not at the skill positions. What no one wants to talk about in the NFC Championship game is that the offensive line floundered. Yes, some guys were playing hurt but it needs some serious reevaluating. It's the primary reason Brees was mediocre for most of that game.

If you expect to win games deep into the postseason you better be prepared to face defensive lines that put massive pressure on the QB. And Brees made considerably poor decisions when under constant pressure. Similarly, this team still needs to improve its pass rush.

You could bring in Jerry Rice in his prime and it wouldn't matter if Brees has a second or two less to make a decision and throw the ball wildly due to deficiencies up front.

Meh... we've essentially won all 4 playoff games the last 2 years. We gave away 1 and had 1 taken from us. Both losses were flukish. I would like to upgrade the depth of the oline though

The OL, on paper, was set up to succeed. You cannot account for multiple injuries there late in the season.

Brees needs guys who can get open. A WR2 and TE. There may not be a better WR in the league who is more compatible w Brees than Golden Tate. Can get open in the intermediate, elite run after catch and forced missed tackles. He doesn’t have to be a WR1

If you’re pinching pennies you don’t bring in a john brown when you got a Ginn. Maybe a JJ Nelson type for cheap. Dez cannot he counted on. There is work to be done addressing the pass catchers

This this this.

Getting Tate to take pressure off of MT would be deadly.

I wish we had some kind of capital to make a trade for Goeddert or one of the other young weapons at the position.

we got out to a 13-0 lead and still failed to run the ball afterwards for the most part.

give the Rams credit though. They turned it up a notch those last few games.

but for the most part this past season we didn't have a playmaker(s) outside of Thomas and Kamara. Even when things were going good that was the case. Look at Week 1 (offensively) when we were slugging it out with Tampa. Yeah.. Ginn made a few plays but it was mostly AK and Thomas from the get. As sorry as Tampa's D was (especially early in the year) no one else really stepped to the plate then.

and on the flip side losing Rankins was a big loss. Davenport wasn't all the way healthy either. Think about when they both were good to go.

Max Unger wasn't a fa. He was part of Jimmy Graham trade.
