Gordon is so thin and airy and flexible, he just seems durable. But moving to the OF could take more of a toll on him

How many days a week is Happ playing with Joe Maddon as his manager?
considering he can play every OF position as well as 2B, he's playing regularly.

You are way undervaluing Gordon in a roto league. He could give you 5-10 points in the steals category. I would take the elite player now.

No I'm not. I'm questioning his ability to maintain the pace in which he steals bases long term, because its a keeper league. That's all.

The only 2 guys playing every day will be Bryant and Rizzo. I'd give Gordon an extra game a week on him. Gordon with 600 at bats. Happ with 500.
It doesn't matter though. In roto, this is a no brainer for Gordon. Much closer if H2H Cats.

We do not even know how many keepers this is. All we know is the guy's last keeper. Unless he is already keeping Billy Hamilton, or he is two years away from competing (unlikely), then keep Dee Gordon.
Happ has a high strikeout rate (could become problematic), will get way fewer at-bats, and could see the bench too much, especially if this guy plays in a weekly league (which is dumb).
In a vacuum, give me the guy who is elite in two cats.

He turns 30 in April, stole 60 last year, and still has super elite feet per second Statcast data. I would guess he is still an elite SB in 2020.

Ellsbury had to stop running bc he was always hurt I reckon
Well shite, players over 30 tend to get hurt more often. Kinda goes with my point.
Ellsbury was consistently hurt even before he hit 30 though.
A guy like Juan Pierre still stole 68 in his age 31 season, then had a couple more productive seasons before falling off.

Vince Coleman stole a bunch past 30
It’s all a bit anecdotal anyway

Rickey Henderson stole 66 in his age 39 season.
Dude also once stole 130 in a year. That's nuts.

Indeed.
