Last book of the Expanse series is out

Just got my copy from Amazon delivered, looking forward to reading this weekend.

I recently was gifted Leviathon Wakes. But it is going to be a while before I can get into the series.

It's not the last book. Got a couple more coming.
This one was much better than the previous book. Although there is a pretty major twist right off the bat which is kind of a head scratcher.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS...through the second chapter at least...
I just finished the first Bobbie chapter. Damn - I can't understand why they made it jump 30(?) years in the future. I'm sure there must be some plot point for it(Earth to get better?) but damn...it kind of sucks. Disappointed that it happened, disappointed that we're missing things that happened in between, and disappointed that the crew is pretty much in the same place - the way things change and the risk they've taken you'd assume half would be dead or there'd be some new additional crew, etc.
