Not mine.. I’m 35.. started playing at 28. My buddy who is scratch got me on it. I’m generally athletic so picked up the game somewhat quickly but struggle with your amateur tendencies. Currently an 8 handicap... my biggest regret is not playing when I was younger rather than wasting time on football, baseball. Etc... Golf is the one sport that you can use later in life with business and always have fun with the bros .

Mine played, were club members for golf and dancing.
Were champion dancers.
Dad taught me short irons. Mom taught me the driver.
Local pro taught me the middle irons.
My first wife loved golf and we played 2 or 3 times a week.
That's when I got solid control.
I was hoops and hardball when young. Hours batting practice.
Hours shooting.
Never put the time in for golf.
A basket once a week doesn't quite cut it.

I always wished my dad would pick up a hobby like golf. Only hobby he is in to is shooting which is WAY more expensive than golf. $30 to $50 a round for a few hours of entertainment. I can fire off $200 in ammo in 30 minutes or less.

Parents never played. I was in golf maintenance for a while and started then. Years ago.
