The average golfer is about a 15, I would think the average score to be around 85.

If they played it down and out, average score across the board would be in the 100’s. Like 110

Hard to know. The average handicap is 15, which would average out to be a score of about 90. But that number comes from GHIN averages. Problem is, usually only the better, more dedicated golfers keep a handicap. I would guess that the true average would be over 100.

The National Golf Foundation breaks down scores this way:
Average Score Percent of Adult Golfers
Under 80 5%
80-89 21%
90-99 29%
100-109 24%
110-119 10%
120+ 11%
So, according to the NGF, 55% of golfers surveyed report breaking 100.
