Back to previous page shows all post "read" when they are not

When I open a post, then use the "back to previous page" arrow to get back to the board, all post are showing read.
I would like for the posts that I have read yet to show as unread.
Is there a cure for this?

Try using the back button in your browser, I think it’ll work the first time you go back. I don’t think it’ll work a second time if you go to another thread and back again though.

Before I did the windows update last week, I could go back countless times without it showing everything read so I guess i'll just have to live with it.
