DIY pulley system for rack

Made a diy pulley system for my R3 rack for cable pulldowns.
Notes:
-Put the pulleys on the wire rope first.
-I will be buying the rogue loading pin for better plate loading. LINK
- didn't need two pulleys as the R3 rack pull up bars are too close.
- 5/16 quick link doesn't fit large chain. Will need to get another spring clip.
- cost will be around 50 in total

I tried to build the same thing and ended up not liking it. Just some suggestions though, I would use a nylon strap to attach the pulley to the power rack so it doesn’t scratch your pull up bar. Also those pulleys are made for rope and have little spurs to grip rope so it doesn’t slip. Those will eventually rip the plastic on your cable. They sell pulleys at HD with ball bearings that are a little smoother. They’re with the garage door parts.

I searched for a good bit for better pulleys and a nylon strap. Couldnt' find anything. Thanks for the tip! The chain was a compromise.
