Watkins ain't in no mix, at this point it sounds as if they are about to take 3 DB's which I don't understand at all. I can understand Surtain, but I thought they were finished with the defensive side of the ball. All that time they spent on Joiner and now they finally have him because the kid was ready to announce his commitment this wkend at the Army All American Bowl game, and now they back off him. Lol I'm sorry, but that sucks and I don't blame the kid for being disappointed. But no I do not understand taking 3 DB's at this stage because LSU can always get DB's with their reputation and will probably get a lot next year. Also, they should go after a QB next year as well because I don't like the way it's looking this year and Foster is leaning more towards the other schools than LSU, but whatever, it's just a lot of flip flopping by Orgeron and I do not like it at all. The NCAA and it's hard cap BS starting this year is just that, a lot of BS because LSU could have finished off a really nice class this year. Probably, closing with players like Surtain, Joseph, Joiner, Watkins, Chase, Beal and either Goodrich or Washington who is still in the picture.

Well then, apologies for the “cut to the chase” criticisms. I think the kid has grade issues, a mistake we make too often and don’t want to fall victim too again (otherwise Fabian Franklin would still be ranked ahead of Joiner and we’d of gotten him for sure!), I think he’s gonna outgrow a RB frame and do it fairly quickly and he is not interested in playing any other position, hence why he was an LSU lean (we were like the only school telling him we’d play him at RB.) very gifted and attractive athlete, but I think there are other guys who aren’t a grade risk who just fit our system better!
