Is Alabama the only team that we play? No, but it has been proven that you have to beat them to win this conference.

The spread offense is the best way to beat BAMA and if good enough to beat them and why not the rest of the schedule.

LSU has the talent to run the spread we just need the mentality for coaches to commit.

There is only one catch to running the spread and you now have the issue of defense wearing down.

In my opinion the win you have to trust your 2nd and 3rd string defense players to play and win games.

Depth on defense becomes critical with running the spread

I agree with this post 100% changing to the spread and i believe we have the players to sub on defense and win.

We can win with several different types of offenses if we have the athletes. If Enos has a good defense he probably could have had a shot to beat Bama. Canada’s Offense could have beaten Bama if 2-3 big plays are executed properly. Mett should could have ended the Bama win streak if miles had the balls to go for it on 4th n 5 when Mett was on fire. He played it safe and even if fg was made we lose. A lot of coaches go for it In that spot vs a team like Bama. Point is it’s about players and execution more than scheme.

I agree with some of this. But you are saying that only spread teams have had good players and execution, because that is the only type of offense that has had success against Bama. The year that hurts your point is the year that we had the two best receivers in football and one of the best running backs in football and we could not threaten to win the conference. You have to have a great offense to beat Bama. We have had so many great players over the years on offense, but the schemes have been unaggressive and predictable.
