I bashed O and the hiring process like many others here but this team has made a turning point. I love beating the gators and loved this win even more but the real reason to be excited is the GUTS these players showed.

They dug deep when no one thought they had a chance. Veterans stepped up and true freshman showed us why they belong here. It was a beautiful thing to see.

Canada and Aranda called a near perfect game giving the adjustments made. This team could be great if we keep battling and pushing for perfection. We have it just need to bring it each and every week.

The Tigers are starting to look like they get it. Coaching is sinking in. As long as we improve weekly we will be fine.

- There was something missing regarding battling. It's on CEO. All I could figure was youth; and that includes the upperclassmen. 'Youth' in the sense of immaturity and Jrs/Srs not acting like it.

- Pushing for perfection is the key. Good enough is never enough. So many other intangibles stem directly from this if it is 'institutionalized'. Still in wait and see mode to see if it is indeed become part of the fabric of this team and Staff. Some of the post game interview of Chark makes me hopeful it is getting there. Much of what he talked about lended itself to 'pride'... if the Staff can get the whole team thinking that way better things will happen. When players can't be the thought of letting teammates down, and when it is unacceptable to them, then the coaches have them in a good frame of mind.

- for the love of god please let Canada and Aranda do their thing. They are specialists. They have had success, to varying degrees.

They didn't quit like @ moo state, that is the difference. Our talent level is 2nd to none, our depth is lacking unlike in the past, lot of 1st time starters, lost almost all of our team leaders from last year. It took time to re-establish that team identity & leadership.

Defensively, we are starting to see it improve, which we all knew it would because of Aranda. But the players are growing up and taking on their responsibilities and playing harder. Showing the LSU Tiger pride.

New offense is still a learning process. Growing pains are to be expected, but, signs of improvement are encouraging.

Give this staff a chance to prove themselves, one way or the other. Condemning anyone without a trial period is not indicative of a supporting fan base.
