Hopefully they've reduced the kick on them. I have a 1960s model that will leave a nice bruise.

Never heard this. I have always oiled this on both my Belgium Sweet 16 and Light 12. Thanks for the suggestion.

The new one isn't like the old one. The new one should have about the same recoil as a Benelli, since it's a Benelli clone.

I haven't oiled anything myself. Just acquired it 3 years ago and haven't shot it but twice. Can you explain where this brass friction brake is?
