Defense - it is a fact the defense is playing many true freshmen, 18 year olds who typically require the gaining of experience, and a 10-30 lb weight gain. Only the passage of time will remedy that. In the interim, my humble recommendation would be to stack the line and both run and pass blitz. Fitzgerald was way too comfortable in the pocket. Force the opponent to beat you through the air.

Offense - Canada has a history of taking what the opponent will give him. I think they need more quick, shorter routes, and screens. I would not be against giving Brennan a chance. Elling is tough and a good guy, but with limited arm talent.

Nah! We suck, the sky is falling, fire Ed O and staff immediately!

Start recruiting more quality linemen.
Stop all that bullshite shifting, only person it's confusing is LSU.
The next 2 games give Brennan more experience.
Get our linemen to start playing with heart.
Get this team disciplined fast.

All the people who made endless excuses for Miles need to suck it up and give O a chance. Some support would be nice too. The cupboard was obviously a lot more bare than we thought. This is going to be a bit of a rebuilding year. Give the man at least 2 recruiting classes before you bury him.

I didn't trash Miles and I'm not trashing O.
When it was time for Miles to go, and I did like him, I was there calling for him to be replaced. I will do the same with O.

LSU is bigger than any one person, even the HC.

Yeh this. Miles got a loaded gun when he took over. He handed over no qb's, WR's with no hands, lack of depth in line. If this shite continues with CEO, I'LL be the first on the fire Eaux train. But you can't judge it based on the first challenging game they played. Moving forward, I'm going to expect him address the issues everyone knows and saw Saturday and there to be some DRASTIC improvements. How he handles responding to this loss will give us a better idea of what's to come.
