We lose Andy to a head coaching job at Miss. St. and the best we can do is a former poor hitting catcher- Gibbs -as our hitting coach.????

First of all, Gibbs was a pretty good hitter. Get your facts right.
No that does not make him a good hitting coach.
I don't know why we settled on Gibbs. It sucks though.

Dude. Arkansas' pitcher is lights out! He's good, man. Makes a lot of hitters look bad, not just LSU's. You can have the best hitting Coach in the world and it wouldn't matter. They just need to scratch. Nothing to do with the hitting Coach here. He can't get up there and swing it for them...

And last weekend, and the weekend before that...
Quit making excuses. This LSU team can't score runs. The offensive approach is awful, and that comes from the head coach.

Very few teams have the luxury of a cannizaro, many don't even have hitting coaches.
